Day 1 - Sweet Science
Why does chocolate melt in your mouth? Why does corn pop and Space Dust crackle? What makes some sweets sweet and some sharp to the taste? Why are marshmallows so fluffy? Test your tongue - molecules and flavours. Do experiments to find the answers to these and many more questions; and maybe you can eat the results! Chocolate - the feel good factor. A day packed with activities to make your mouth water.

Yesterday in 'Sweet Science' we made our own sweets. The best bit was when we fizzed up all of the coke, and it went everywhere.
it was fun,tasty,yuk and an extravaganza day ad it was day!!!!!!!!! I hope it will be fun in all the other days and defintely on alton towers!

yesterday i did something called sweet science. it was really fun and i am looking forward to other activities ion school.this is my first time at summer school and i really like to be with my freinds and have fun ... this is a oppurtunity to do that.
yesturday was realy good when we were making sweets and making the ball.
i am looking forward to do the circus tricks today.
Yesterday was very good because we made some sweets with different ingredients like chocolate , 100's n 1000's and jell and lots more.
I enjoyed the sweet sciece day yesterday bacause we got to make sweets and eat them.At the end we made a poster in a group with a design of a sweet on it and the best poster and description won aload of marshmellows.
I enjoyed yesterday it was so much fun I especially enjoyed the sweeets,but the best bit was when we got to eat the sweets.
I am looking forward to the bmxing and the climbing wall because it sounds like really good fun.
sweet science was great because it helped people to develop their skills in science.
yesterday in sweet science, we made sweets. we also tasted different things and learned about popocorn. the best bit was when we fizzed the coke by putting sweets inside the bottle.
yestoday was a really good day becouse they was loads of opportunities to do loads of really of exciting things to do like make a bouncey ball that was the best cus it was the best.
today i am really looking forwered to the circus skills day and i am really excited about woopping the the year 6 ass at football.
what i realy enjoyed about yesterday was when we did sweet science and made our own sweats my ingredients was skittles melted choclate and a marshmallo i had alot off opportunities to learn new things what i had never before.
the best part was when we put mentos mints ibnto coca cola and i bursted into he air i was realy fun.

Well...yesterday was quiet fun, especially making all the sweets, although I wasn't too keen on all the tasting...but overall I really enjoyed it.
The reason I didn't like the tasting, was becuase I didn't really know what to expect, it could be something really sour or something really sweet - and I hate either of them!!!
But yesterday was great!!!
yesterday was great,i loved creating the sweet poster,i got on with the people in my group.
At break and dinner the football matches were great.
Anyway i enjoyed yesterday alot.
sweat science was not as fun as i thought it would.the chocolate making was fun and that's the thing i've mostly enjoyed.
I'm looking forward for more fun things to do in summer
school.Something that is much much fun to do.
On Monday we did a thing called ‘Sweet science’. It was kind of fun but also slightly boring. Mind you, Tuesday shall be better (hopefully).The best thing about Monday was that my group won the prize of a massive tub of mini marshmallows. I was amazed when she said our group were the winners. I learnt a few new things, like why popcorn pops. I’d give that day 4.75/10.
On Tuesday we are going to do circus skills. When we did it last year I was dreading it but when I actually did it I really enjoyed it. Most of the things were tricky but I still tried them and had fun. This year will probably be about the same. I can’t wait!
The day went good it was fun!
I thoughroly enjoyed th esweet science due to the easy understanding and thorough explaining the teacher, Catherine used.
I also enjoyed the making of the bouncy custard, partially because my team won. Also, because I enjoy cooking which the process was similar to.
Yesterday, we had a sience activity day called sweet sience. My faviroute part of the day is when the teacher put 3-5 mints in a bottle of Coca Cola and it fizzed up into a fountian (of mess). The popcorn that the teacher also made smelt like heaven, Sweet and crunchy(mmmm).
The thing I am looking forward to the most is the writing day beacuse you came really express your self with poetry and words.
I will also enjoy the trip to Alton Towers.
Yesterday i had a great time making sweets and making popcorn.

Yesterday, we did Sweet Science and it was amazing!
My worst part of the day was the first activity were we had to taste different types of things (most of them were very unplesent)!
However, the best two parts of the day that i realy enjoyed are watching the cola explode into the sky.The other best part of the day was making our own sweets because at the end we got to eat them!

YESTERDAY: At the start of the day the teatcher told us to draw a tounge then she gave us a tast test A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I.
TODAY:I am looking foward to circus skills
Tuesday is the circus skills day and i will enjoy it[i hope]. and at break i will be playing football and i will win [i hope again]!!
yesterday we did sweet science, wow it was cool. we made our own sweets on our own that was the best thing but we had sherbut and i had some and i went hyper that was cooooooooooooooolllllllllll but it was also good it didnt taste like real sherbut but it was good. so was the chocolate. We also did an experiment with mints and pop that was cool. I hope today is even better. carnt wait till alton towers it will definatly be cool. well thats it for now!
